Why should musical instruction start at such a young age?
Why should musical instruction start at such a young age?
Multiple scientific studies have been done specifically on the Suzuki Early Childhood Education curriculum, and have found that babies who participate in interactive music classes with their parents smile more, communicate better, and show earlier and more sophisticated brain responses to music. One of the most crucial components to the Suzuki method philosophy is that music can be learned in the same way language is acquired, while neural pathways in the brain are still open language development, between the ages of 0-6.
My child is three. Are we too old for class?
SECE classes are for children from birth including their third year, and in many cases 4 year olds as well!
